About Us

It's all about location! Calcium Products is fortunate to sit in the heart of one of the world's purest limestone deposits. We operate two production facilities that grind, prill, dry and bag or bulk-package our products. In our laboratory we constantly explore how to improve the ways in which producers can optimize their soil by using some of nature's most perfect products…nearly pure gypsum and limestone.

Calcium Products, Inc., is recognized as one of the leading specialists in the development of advanced techniques for processing super fine powders. We have developed the industry's most efficient operation for converting pure limestone, gypsum, humates and other materials into practical, easy to use and highly effective granular products. We have engineered our SuperCal products to solve the problems usually associated with processed pelletized powders, specifically, the lack of particle and pellet uniformity, excessive dust and slow pellet breakdown.

Today, more than ever, the products we create are vital to the stewardship of the land and our water resources. When producers use the products we make they are taking an active role in cutting fertilizer rates, improving the quality of the soil, checking erosion and saving the ground water. You may think those are pretty tall claims for something that costs so little to use but we've got the science behind us.

Founded in 1987, Calcium Products, Inc., continues to grow. We're not only a favorite of producers who see cost savings as important we also serve a large number of organic farmers. Tracing our heritage from the Midwest Limestone Company, a long time participant in the development of the Gilmore City Quarries, we continue to produce safe and sound agricultural products enabling our customers to meet the environmental challenges confronting producers today.
