Meet Our Intern: Olivia Tenuta

This summer, we’re proud to welcome Olivia Tenuta to the team at Calcium Products Fertilizer.

Originally from Lake in the Hills, Illinois, Olivia is currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University and is on track to graduate in Fall 2025. With a strong interest in agriculture and a drive to grow professionally, Olivia brings great energy and curiosity to her internship.

Her connection to Calcium Products began last summer while interning with NEW Cooperative. After touring our Fort Dodge plant, the people and culture made a lasting impression.

“The people and the work environment stood out to me. Calcium Products seemed like the kind of place where I could learn a lot, connect with coworkers, and enjoy.”

Now that she’s on board, Olivia is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience in ag sales and building relationships with team members and customers. She’s eager to learn from others in the industry and make meaningful connections that will help guide her long-term career.

Her future goals include working in sales or marketing at an ag company—ideally somewhere she’s never lived before. Eventually, she hopes to return to Iowa to be closer to family.

So far, Olivia says one of the biggest lessons she’s learned is the importance of clear communication:

“It’s been cool to see how different departments stay connected and work together to keep things running smoothly.”

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys traveling, spending time on the farm, being outdoors, and staying active. Some of her favorite activities include sightseeing, hiking, running, swimming, skiing, and simply spending quality time with friends and family.

We’re excited to have Olivia on the team this summer and look forward to seeing the impact she’ll make during her time with us. Welcome, Olivia!
