Meet the Team

Mike became the President and CEO of Calcium Products in 2013. Prior to this role, he spent 24 years with John Deere holding positions in engineering, operations, and business. Mike most recently led John Deere’s North American utility tractor business in Augusta, Georgia. He also spent three years in the Netherlands leading John Deere’s European sprayer business and helped secure double-digit growth.

Mike is an Iowa native with experience on his family’s farm. Mike earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 2002 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1989. Mike and his family live in Ames, Iowa.

Jeff joined Calcium Products as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2015. Prior to Calcium Products, Jeff developed and grew the Iowa sales territory for Specialty Fertilizer Products (SFP), now Verdesian Life Sciences. He spent ten years at Channel Bio starting first as a district sales manager which led to leadership roles managing all aspects of a sales system including recruitment and coaching of the sales team, marketing, customer service, and distribution. Jeff started his career at FC Coop, now Landus Cooperative in Iowa in 1996 as a feed and livestock marketing specialist.

Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education from Iowa State University and is an active member of his family farm near Winterset, Iowa.

Jeff joined Calcium Products in 2012 with an extensive history in agricultural sales including fertilizer, seed, and equipment. Most recently, Jeff worked as a district sales manager in Iowa for Nachurs-Alpine Solutions, an industry leader in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium liquid fertilizer. Jeff started his career and spent 17 years with American Cyanamid Co., contributing to the company’s aggressive growth in crop protection products.

Jeff graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He was raised on a farm in western Iowa and currently lives in Des Moines, Iowa.

Shelby Eastlund joined the Calcium Products team in September 2022 to support sales in Eastern Iowa. She has spent the last ten years with Corteva selling crop protection in parts of Iowa and Missouri.

Shelby graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture Studies and a minor in Agronomy. She currently resides with her husband and two-year-old son in Boone, Iowa.

Dena graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture in 2009. Dena is bringing 12 years of agronomy experience to our team with strengths in agronomy sales and independent crop consulting. She has worked at various agriculture companies throughout her professional career, the most recent ones being Synergy Cooperative and Crop IMS (A division of Growmark FS). In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and spending time sailing.

Dena grew up on an organic dairy farm near Baldwin, Wisconsin and currently resides in Glenwood City, Wisconsin with her husband and two children.

Evan started with Calcium products in March of 2024. He has an Agriculture business degree from Iowa State University. Evan has spent time working for Helena, Pattern Ag, and most recently Verdesian Life Sciences.

In his free time, Evan likes to spend time farming, watching sports, or hanging out with his friends and family. Evan, his wife, and two kids currently reside in Gretna, Nebraska.

Seth Kveno is coming to Calcium Products with many years of experience in the seed industry. He has joined our sales team as an additional Territory Sales Manager in Minnesota. Seth graduated from NDSU with a bachelors degree in in crop and weed sciences and a bachelors degree in plant protection.

In his free time, Seth likes to watch his kids compete in their various activities, hunt and do a little farming. Seth currently resides in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Alex Brock joined our sales team in 2023, covering Missouri. He has spent the last few years as an  account manager for Farmers Edge.

Alex graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in crop and soil science. He currently resides in Bogard, Missouri.

Alex joined our sales team as an additional Professional Turf Sales Manager in June. He previously worked for Key Cooperative as an agronomist and decided to start a new journey in the turf industry. As an agronomist for Key, Alex is familiar with both 98G and SO4. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

In his free time, Alex spends time golfing, hunting and fishing. Alex currently resides in Knoxville, Iowa with his wife.

Glen started with Calcium Products in 2008, bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in row crop production. He supports customers across our sales territories providing agronomic consultation and technical product training. Prior to becoming a part of the Calcium Products team, Glen worked in ag retail for about five years as a sales agronomist, location manager, and agronomy manager.

Glen holds two degrees in Agronomy. He graduated from Iowa State University with his bachelor’s in 1993 and completed his master’s in 2013. He is also a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) and Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg).

Lacey joined the Calcium Products team as a sales and marketing intern in 2017. Upon graduating from Iowa State University in 2017 with a degree in Agricultural Communications, Lacey was hired on full-time.

She grew up on a farm in central Iowa and now farms with her husband near Gowrie, Iowa.

Laurie joined the Calcium Products team in 2022. She graduated from DMACC and Northwest Missouri State and works out of the Ames office on order entry and billing. Laurie currently lives in Story City, Iowa and enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
