Meet Maria Meyer, our R&D and sales intern for this summer. Maria is a Senior at Iowa State University majoring in animal science with a minor in general business. She grew up in Okoboji, Iowa and has spent the last few summers working and living in Ames.

In her free time, Maria likes to spend time outside while staying active with runs and walks with friends. At Iowa State she is a member of the Dairy Science Club and the Sigma Kappa Sorority. One of her favorite things about Iowa State is the beauty of the campus, along with her groups of friends and connections that make the large campus seem a bit smaller.

This summer Maria has plans to ride along with our sales reps and learn a little more about the sales process. She is looking forward to learning more about the different segments within the agriculture industry.

After graduation, Maria plans to pursue a job in animal nutrition and health research. She just returned from a study abroad trip in the Netherlands and hopes to visit again with the possibly of working abroad someday.
